A referral from a physician is not required for an ADHD evaluation at our practice. You can directly schedule an assessment with our Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) to initiate the evaluation process.
Once the ADHD evaluation is completed, we will interpret the results and provide you with a detailed report outlining your child's ADHD symptoms, diagnosis, and recommendations for home and school. We aim to provide the evaluation results in a timely manner following the assessment. You can expect the entire evaluation and report to be completed within 3-4 weeks.
As a Licensed Educational Psychologist, I do not prescribe medication. However, I can provide recommendations and collaborate with healthcare providers to support your child's comprehensive treatment plan.
The written report from the ADHD evaluation will include recommendations for both home and school, along with relevant ED code information for educational planning. We can also provide guidance on how to effectively communicate the findings with your child's school.
No. While parental presence during the assessment can vary based on the child's age and individual needs, we strive to create a comfortable and supportive environment for children during the evaluation process. We have a lobby directly outside the testing room as well as a play area for younger children.
We do not accept insurance at this time. Our practice can provide the necessary documentation for insurance reimbursement upon request.
